We were a little nervous about building a house long-distance (we lived in Virginia at the time), but our experience with Apex was so fabulous, we would do it again ... if Apex could build it anywhere in the country! Our home was completed on time and slightly under budget. Clark and Apex gave us complete transparency into the schedule, budget, and cost process. They emailed us photos every month and sent us invoices that included copies of all invoices they paid. They made construction design suggestions and helped us wade through the dozens of decisions that have to made when building a custom home. And even better for us, they negotiated with vendors/suppliers on our behalf to get us the best possible price on many materials and appliances in our home. We have been in our home seven years and love it as much as we did on day one. The quality of their work is so high that we have had no extraordinary expenses aside from normal upkeep. And Apex is so committed to their product that whenever we need to have some maintenance done or want to add or modify something, they are as responsive as the day we signed the building contract. We hired Clark to build a cabin up in Fairplay after meeting with a dozen different builders. Clark is the real deal. Not only did he finish building our house on time; building through the winter and dealing with the property being at 11,000ft, but he delivered it on a level of detail and precision that we couldn’t have imagined.
