In 2006, Apex Mountain Homes experienced the unexpected passing of Brian G. Platte—a dear friend, community leader, inspired colleague, and company co-founder. Brian’s memory lives on in the work he did among us to make Summit County a more beautiful place in which to live. In coordination with the Summit Foundation, Apex Mountain Homes and Phylecia Platte have established the Brian G. Platte Memorial Advised Fund. The fund will assist individuals and organizations involved in the many Summit County causes that Brian supported.
